splat.

it's pretty much as it says. it's not faith if you're using your head.
why do we keep relying on our senses?
why are we driven by how we feel about certain things?
i see it all the time, people come and thrive when life is 'perfect'.
Then when things seem to fall out of place,
or when a choice arises it's by our human nature that drives us
to seek the comfort and help from friends.
"Greater is he that is within Me, than he that is in the world"
a verse i've memorised other than john 3:16 which 75%
of Christian kids are born with (according to the stats).

last sunday, i heard from a pastor a new kind of christian,
well a new 'term' to define that period before faith and
back-sliding. it's called the 'practical atheist'.
extreme right? i thought so, but that's what we become
when we soak ourselves in carnal culture, rather than God's.
we're all talk and no walk. we lose our integrity and liberty.
we bind ourselves in chains and blindly walk into the
enemies camp. we desire to get a 'feeling' of His presence
through our body and our emotions, and if we don't get that
feeling, a light bulb of doubt switches on, and satan whispers
"He's not there is He?". push comes to shove, your
intentions get off track and you forget what basking is
God's glory is like.

where's your faith at? who do you put most of your trust in?
yourself? your friends? your phone? your Saviour?
